Lady Gaga is an American pop artist, songwriter, and actress who has an estimated worth of $320 million. Lady Gaga, also known as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanyotta began her career as a musical theater and burlesque artist in the East Village in New York, seemingly attempting to follow in the footsteps of nightclub performers turned famous like Bette Midler or Madonna. She was in a rut for a number of years, and finally was able to start her career in 2005, and began recording her debut album and making songs for artists, such as Britney Spears, Fergie, and the Pussycat Dolls.
