She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November in 1986. She is the only daughter of Vincenzo Barba. Her family relocated from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. The school she attended was Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After that, she went to Catholic University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture. As well, she played the violin at the age of four and was referred to by the name of Violin Lady. As a result of her music performance, she was referred to as Violin Girl. She was also an instructor of violin for youngsters in the area. When she was nineteen she auditioned for the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. She was eliminated at the 16th spot. There were many songs she performed like the 2009's "The Christmas Song" as well as 2010's Out for Blood. The singer has also been featured on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!
