Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent in the very first round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as a professional were marred. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a professional. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16 saw her rise from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability was able to take down McGill as she was able to stop her in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and the Fight of the Night award was awarded to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a unanimous vote.
