The show she was on ended 7th Heaven after performing in its sixth season. The movie Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance in it as teenager Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. In fact, she was awarded the award for award for the Best Young Supporting Actress in this film. Summer Catch is a great example of her talent. In spite of her stellar performance in Rules of Attraction her film was not a huge success. People were then attracted by her character as a character in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. The suspense films she has acted in has shown her to be an actor of serious stature.
